Tuesday, YouTube announced that Donald Trump's channel has been banned from uploading videos "in light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence."

YouTube, Google-owned video site suspended Trump’s account after one of his recent videos violated its policy for inciting violence, according to the platform.

Trump will be unable to upload anything on YouTube "for a minimum of seven days", a spokesperson said.

YouTube added that all comments on Trump's channel have been disabled until further notice.

However, older videos that did not violate any policies remained active on his channel.

On Jan. 7, Facebook's CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that Donald Trump will be banned from using Facebook and Instagram until at least the rest of his term.

Additionally, on Jan. 8, Twitter permanently suspended President Donald Trump’s account.
